About the book:
Cleanroom Technology: Fundamentals of Design, Testing, and Operation

In September 2025, the Slovenian translation of Dr William Whyte’s technical book “Cleanroom Technology – Fundamentals of Design, Testing, and Operation” was published. The book is one of the most comprehensive sources of knowledge in the field of cleanroom design, testing, and operation. It provides a professional foundation for acquiring basic knowledge and understanding of the key principles and standards that are indispensable in ensuring controlled conditions. It is the first professional book in the field of cleanroom technology available in Slovenian. The translation of the book also resulted in the first terminology dictionary with explanations of key terms in the field of cleanroom technology, which now enables standardized professional communication in this field in Slovenian as well.
The author of the book, Dr William Whyte, is a leading expert in the field of cleanroom technology worldwide. He is an honorary research associate at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. He graduated in microbiology and obtained his doctorate in mechanical engineering.
